Zimbali Estate Foundation launch well supported

Zimbali Country Club was transformed into a magical scene as the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra set up for their two-part showcase of music of all genres on Saturday, March 4.
The club was packed with more than 160 guests dressed in white for the launch of the Zimbali Estate Foundation (ZEF).
Although the foundation has been operating since April 2021, it has been working quietly to gather momentum before officially introducing itself to the estate residents.

The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra impressed by opening with a Phantom of the Opera medley, followed by favourites from Strauss, Elgar and Bizet, among others.
Specialist vocalist Njabulo Nzuza was mesmerising in his performance of ‘The Impossible Dream’ (from Man of la Mancha), and got everyone’s feet tapping before interval with ‘Fly Me To The Moon’.
The song ‘Too Marvelous For Words’ was a fitting end to a marvellous evening that had a few eager guests dancing next to their tables.
