Ballito Gesinskerk Bazaar draws the crowd

While final figures are still being verified, the event saw about R75 000 raised, which organiser Leonie Spangenberg said they were most grateful for.

Delicious fruit tarts and pancakes, fun games and shopping galore drew the crowds to the Ballito Gesinskerk on Saturday.

Always a popular and busy event, the bazaar serves as a fundraiser for the church which relies heavily on funds raised to support non-profit organisations.

While final figures are still being verified, the event saw about R75 000 raised, which organiser Leonie Spangenberg said they were most grateful for.

“We really cannot succeed without the support of the community,” she said.
