Three die in Mandeni accident

The car veered into oncoming traffic on the N2.

Three people – all in their thirties – died after the driver of the car they were travelling in lost control and crashed into a truck near Mandeni last night.

The fourth member of the family in the car, a female, was taken to hospital.

According to reports they were heading towards Durban when the driver lost control and drove into oncoming traffic on the N2 before hitting the truck.

According to Dylan Meyrick of the IPSS Medical Rescue, the truck driver was unharmed.
