An unmanned free-wheeling truck crashed into three parked cars and a bakkie this afternoon shortly before 4pm at the Ballito Village parking area outside the SPCA Dog Box charity shop.
It is understood the truck had broken down further up Library Lane and a mechanic was called in to carry out repairs.
Once this was done, the driverless truck began free-wheeling down the road toward the parking area before crashing into the cars, causing considerable damage.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Authorities are at the scene conducting investigations and the area will be cleared soon.
