The North Coast Courier’s Best of Ballito readers’ choice awards are currently underway, and locals have already begun submitting their nominations.
Nominations close at midnight on April 30.
Voting by the public begins May 10 and runs until May 31.
Running for 26 years across the country, the ‘Best of’ awards offer locals the chance to shine a spotlight on their preferred businesses.
The awards, started by the Caxton Group, aim to acknowledge businesses that provide excellent services or products and direct customers to the best of the best.
Courier editor, Lesley Naudé, said: “The North Coast is a community where excellence is celebrated, and people love to ask for and share their recommendations. The ‘Best of’ awards provide the perfect platform for everyone to recognise the businesses they love to use.”
Whether it’s a restaurant or a preferred mechanic, any local business can be nominated across a range of categories.
Additionally, nominating your favourite business could make you eligible to win prizes worth R30 000 from luxury accommodation partners such as Rhino River Lodge, Rain Farm Game and Lodge, and Antbear Lodge.
If you cannot find an appropriate category for your nominee, you can create one. Moreover, voters are only allowed to nominate once in each sub-category.
