Guidance for Miss Ballito hopefuls

Miss Ballito organisers held an open day at La Montagne Hotel on Saturday to inform prospective entrants about what it takes to become the town’s beauty queen.
With entries only open until May 7, those keen on throwing their names in the hat had better do so soon.
Entrants must be aged between 17 and 24. They will undergo stringent vetting processes, followed by an induction.
Training with life coaches and learning a set of skills to become serious pageant contenders will be offered.
