Missing man’s body found in Umvoti River

Family identifies body of relative who went missing two weeks ago.

The body of a 67-year-old Maphumulo man reported missing two weeks ago was found floating in the Umvoti River in the Daka Daka area near Glendale on Saturday afternoon.

IPSS and Saps search and rescue teams recovered the body and handed it over to the Glendale police.

Family of the missing man positively identified him at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the man’s death are being investigated by Saps.
