Several cars and two trucks involved in accident on N2 near Ballito
Motorists are urged to use the R102 as an alternative route with severe delays expected on the N2 near the Ballito interchange.
Paramedics are currently treating several injured motorists and passengers involved in a multi-vehicle collision on the N2 south near the Ballito interchange.
The accident, which happened at around 3.15pm, reportedly involves nine cars and two trucks.
The number of injured is yet to be confirmed but injuries range from minor to serious.
“Multiple patients are currently being stabilised and will be taken to nearby medical facilities,” said Kelsey Jae of IPSS Medical Rescue.
No deaths have been reported.
