Builders Ballito open for business

The ‘store in the bush’ is no more.

Now that Builders Ballito found its new home on the corner Ballito and Moffat Drive and officially opened its doors to clients last Thursday, it is a whole new ballgame.

Management said they had plans to not only be the best Builders outlet in town, but the country.

They intend to achieve that goal through an improved shopping experience, boasting a wider range of products and services.

Customers will be served by the same skilled and friendly staff whom they dealt with at the previous branch.

Store manager Adrienne Pargeter said after the relocation she was excited to finally be part of the Ballito family.

“We will no longer be known as the ‘store in the bush’,” she said.

Clients can look forward to having all their garden, decor, braai, lighting, pool, pet and flooring needs met at Builders Ballito, with additional VAS services such as bill payments, buying of airplane tickets, money transfers and more available.

“If you can’t find it here, you won’t find it anywhere,” said Pargeter of the store which further offers specialised in-store services such as glass cutting, pool water analysis, board cutting and remote programming.

Pargeter boasts a wealth of knowledge in the industry, which she joined in 1995. In 2011, she started as a cashier with Builders in the Eastern Cape, being promoted to store manager in less than a year.

She has been part of Builders Ballito for the past four years, and said she loved the culture, diversity and vibe of the store, which gels perfectly with the Ballito lifestyle.

Customers also have access to added value by signing up for the Builders benefits programme, which provides discounts, personalised offers and more.

Builders Ballito is open weekdays from 7am-5pm, Saturday from 8am-4pm, and Sundays from 8am-2pm.
