Huge boost for Ballito Lions
Estimations are that the fundraiser collected more than R35 000.
More than 200 people came out to support Ballito Lions’ gin and wine tasting fundraiser event at Umhlali Country Club’s Mamma G’s restaurant last Friday.
Wines on sale were sourced from more than 20 wine farms.
Ballito Lions president Ken Chapman said while final figures were still being verified, estimations indicated more than R35 000 had been raised.
“We will use these funds for future projects, allowing Lions to respond immediately when critical needs arise,” said Chapman.
