One dead after four-car collision on N2

Parts of the northbound lane were affected but have since been cleared.

A man succumbed to his injuries after he was involved in a four-car crash on the N2 near King Shaka International Airport last night.

At around 8.45pm, the northbound cars collided on the stretch of the N2 just before the airport offramp.

The exact cause of the accident is unknown and is being investigated by police.

There were other injuries but most were minor to moderate and those involved were treated by attending paramedic services.

Some of the northbound lanes were affected last night but have since been cleared and traffic is now flowing freely.
