New exhibition and curator at The Gallery
The all-day launch event will start at 9am and run until 8pm, with a live performance by Afritude from 6pm.
The Gallery at Ballito Lifestyle Centre’s The Studios will welcome new curator Sarah O’Reilly during the launch tomorrow (Thursday) of a new exhibition titled ‘Impression/Expression’.
Current gallery curator, Jane Digby, said they were looking forward to an exciting time of realignment and renewal with O’Reilly joining the team, and also shared word of new artists whose works will go on display.
“This wonderful collaboration features both established and emerging contemporary South African artists, each with their own unique style and impression of the world at this time,” said Digby.
Artists include Corné Eksteen, Muzi Ndlela, Lyn Hoyle and Michelle Graven, among others.

The all-day launch event will start at 9am and run until 8pm, with a live performance by Afritude from 6pm.
The exhibition will continue until December 7
With O’Reilly’s appointment, Digby’s time as The Gallery’s curator has come to an end, but she said she was excited to get back to pursuing her own creative passions again full-time.
