Ballito Big Braai set to grow
Proceeds raised from the event will go toward local non-profit organisations once figures have been finalised.
The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund and Round Table 221 Ballito Big Braai on Saturday will build on what is set to become an annual event.
Held at Sugar Rush Park, visitors and some braai masters were entertained by local rock band The Spare Parts.
“The Ballito Big Braai had something to offer for all members of the family and guests who attended,” said Orphan Fund coordinator, Charmaine Premlal.
She said visitors meandered around the grounds, checking out what was on offer at the various stands.
“Children had their own entertainment and were happily occupied for hours. This event has the potential to grow into an annual family attraction, something we look forward to doing,” she said.
