Taxi crashes into Umdloti bridge – four dead
The fatal collision led to the temporary closure of the M4.
Four passengers were killed and 11 injured when a taxi lost control and crashed into the Umdloti bridge last night.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue’s Samantha Meyrick five people were critically injured.
IPSS Medical Rescue advanced life support paramedics stabilised the critically injured patients on scene.
Other injuries ranged from minor to moderate. All patients were transported to various healthcare facilities for further treatment.
