Extended power outages to hit Ballito this week
The power cuts are necessary for urgent maintenance work and upgrading of the network.
Parts of Ballito will be without electricity for extended periods today and Thursday, 30th May.
According to the KwaDukuza municipality, this could be for as long as 10 hours each day from 8am until 6pm.
During previous maintenance outages in April the power was returned much earlier in the afternoon, however.
The planned power outages will affect parts of Ward 6 and Ward 22 – from Ballito’s Simbithi Drive south (Surf and Turf flats included), Simbithi Estate, Barbets Crest Estate, Miltons feeder, Shaka’s Rock and Salt Rock.
