Umhlali Bridge Club masters face off

Competition is fierce at the weekly bridge competition.

Last week’s Umhlali Bridge Club meet drew some excellent play from the card experts on show.

Jeanie Kieser and Cavell Love reigned supreme in the A Section, followed by the teams of Pat Betterton and Maureen Harris, and Andrew Robinson and Sandra Harris.

Sally Leask and Marie-France LeClezio claimed the B Section honours.

Marie-France LeClezio and Sally Leask were too strong for their B Section competitors, claiming the first position.

Gaby Lyle and Cathy Kegel finished second, with Penny Rey and Barbara Koenig rounding out the podium.

The C Section was won by Kate van Rooyen and Wendy van Schalkwyk, with Jane Wilson and Ann de Jager in second and Di Rademan and Pam Carlson in third.
