Brettenwood team spreads goodwill at Sizani Combined School on Mandela Day

Apart from donating desks and chairs, the Sizani Eco Warriors Club was introduced to promote sustainability and eco-friendly behaviour among pupils.

The Brettenwood team visited Sizani Combined School to spread goodwill on Mandela Day.

The estate donated new desks and chairs for the Grade R class and planted a vegetable garden.

Colourful chairs and desks were donated to make learning more comfortable.

The day’s activities also included the inception of the Sizani Eco Warriors Club. Pupils will be responsible for tending the garden, learning about sustainability practices, and championing eco-friendly behaviour both at school and in their community.

“Our goal is not just to donate material things but to inspire a culture of sustainable living and healthy eating habits among the pupils,” said Brettenwood marketing manager, Samantha Subban.
