Update: KwaDukuza beaches remain closed

Further evaluation will be done on Monday morning to assess whether it will be safe to reopen beaches.

The swimming ban at KwaDukuza beaches, including launch sites, remains in force as the rough sea conditions have not improved.

The beaches were closed on Thursday because of the unsafe conditions. The municipality will again evaluate the situation on Monday morning to assess whether it would be possible to reopen the beaches.
