Doringkop intersection crash leaves two dead, many injured

One critically injured patient had to be airlifted to hospital.

Two men between the ages of 40-50 years died this morning after a bakkie and a taxi collided on the R74 Doringkop intersection.

An injured patient was airlifted to hospital.

IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson Samantha Meyrick said at least 7 people were critically injured in the accident.

They were stabilised at the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals. One of the injured was airlifted to Durban.
