Former Come Dine With Me television series winners Lianca Dookran and Mike Gahagan turned up the heat at Hirsch’s Ballito kitchen last Friday.

Last year’s winner Dookran faced off against Gahagan, who took the title a decade ago, in the Come Dine With Me Philips Airfryer Challenge.

Dookran, a local physiotherapist, prepared a delicious spread featuring spicy prawn and chicken risoles alongside a vegetable and mushroom quiche.

Gahagan, a local environmental activist, countered with a Sri Lankan dish of black rice.

While cooking, they shared stories about their experiences on the Come Dine With Me show.

Dookran clinched the win.
