#Opinions: Readers recognise great service on the North Coast

We asked locals to tell us about one local person or company that impressed them with excellent service recently.
This is what they had to say about good service.

Leaza Thompson – I ordered some (41 in total) last minute Christmas baubles from Hello Cool in Umdloti. They were ready in 4 days and the work was beautifully done. I can highly recommend them.

Viloshni Pillay – The guys from Cat Box Pet Hyper Ballito branch are always helpful and friendly. Such good customer service from them and the best part is they know all their customers so well.

Natalie Willox – Stanger License Department. They were super friendly and somehow still had my new driver’s license, even though it’s been well over a year since I renewed it!

Werner Brand – The staff at Tasos are on the ball as well as the doctors at Salt Rock Medical Centre

Kumarie Moopanar – Cakes and Things by Deshni in Seatides. Awesome service, delicious goodies, reasonably priced. Service with a smile, friendly and professional.

Larisha Naidoo – 3D Park and Fly Solutions. They are so helpful, efficient and offer value for money when one needs to use the airport and having to store one’s vehicle safely.

Lise Hayes – The guys at Ship Tech garage and Everest Convenience Centre are brilliant. I am always met by a friendly face and great service.

Lizette Steyn – Orchids Exotics, even if you don’t buy an orchid their advice is so helpful and Daleen will take all her time to tell you all you need to know to take care of your plants.

Jean van Wyk – Ballito ISP. I messaged on a group about a fibre problem on a Sunday afternoon. Richard called me to assist with troubleshooting, and was prepared to pop in to help if I didn’t get the problem sorted. Sensible Solar is another fantastic after sales service company.

Yuls Harridass – Siyabonga Fortune-Artwell Koza has never dropped the ball on any of his services, be it recycling or personalisation.

Tessa Duane – I think in this area we get brilliant service from so many different people and companies, so much so that when there is bad service you really notice it. Our restaurants and coffee shops especially are amazing.

Beverly Gosling – Kevin Stevens at Ballito Vet. The entire task force there are absolutely amazing.

Chantal Kidgell – Lizette Steyn’s Cupcake Corner Ballito for all your cake needs. And she does incredible party platters for events. I have ordered normal, sugar free and vegan cakes from her. All were extraordinarily moist and delicious. She also goes the extra mile for her party platters. I highly recommend her services. She is kind and gives absolutely outstanding advice for making an event extra special.

Lorraine Fleetwood – The Locksmith on Ballito Drive.

Warren Loader – Dr Gounden, Dr Sadabriss and Dr Nav Govender at Netcare Alberlito are absolutely brilliant in their fields of work. Anyone can put their lives in their hands and know they are getting the best treatment they can get.

Suzanne Bamber – The team at Home Grown Fresh Whole Foods in Lifestyle Centre supply a fantastic assortment of produce, and they are so friendly and helpful.
