The Courier dropped in at the Ballito Farmers Market on Sunday to capture the relaxed vibe enjoyed by locals at this popular hangout.

There is something for everyone, from food stalls serving up special dishes, to fresh produce, sauces, health products, handmade crafts, stylish clothes, jewellery and even garden plants.

The market is located on the R102 between Umhlali and Shakaskraal, and is open every Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays from 8am to 3pm. Entry is free.

There is safe parking and you can even bring your leashed pets along for the outing, making it a perfect weekend leisure stop for the whole family.
