Twenty enthusiastic teams competed in the recent Feline Feral Fund (FFF) quiz fundraiser, raising more than R32 000 to aid feral cat care and population control.

Hosted at Sheffield’s Grand Exotic Café, the cat-themed event featured generous prizes from local businesses, with proceeds supporting FFF’s ongoing efforts.

Founded in 2003 by Sharon Cossey, now led by chairlady Riki Yoko and director Rae Dengler, FFF focuses on trap-neuter-release initiatives in Ballito and beyond, with valued assistance from Aloe Vet’s Jeremy Lamb.

Quizmasters Gordon Amos and Elwyn van den Aardweg kept teams entertained after lunch, with The Slimcats ultimately claiming first prize over runners-up The Cats Whiskers and Chi Chi Sue.
