Kickstart your holidays with Puss in Boots

The annual pantomime is a holiday tradition.

The holiday season gets a vibrant kickstart as KickstArt Theatre Productions presents their lively Panto, Puss in Boots, at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre from 5 December to 12 January.

Set on an enchanted Caribbean Island, this family-friendly production promises a colourful spectacle with dazzling sets, vibrant costumes and festive humour. Originally staged in 2015, this year’s show brings fresh flavour with the introduction of new hits like Mariah Carey’s “Hero” and the return of crowd pleaser hits like Katy Perry’s “Roar”.

Lyle Buxton prepares to bowl you over with his charm this festive season.

The show stars Rory Booth as the charismatic and witty Puss, supported by William Young as his hapless owner, Tom Marzipan. Blessing Xaba takes on the role of Tom’s exasperated mother, Merry Marzipan, while Lyle Buxton plays Tristram, Tom’s bumbling brother.

The cast also includes Bryan Hiles as Grimsby Withergood, Roshanda Lewis as Princess Miranda, and Belinda Henwood as the enchanting fairy Calypso Honeybunch.

Directed by Darren King with sets by Greg King and choreography by Simone Mann, this family favourite promises to be a “purr-fect” festive outing. Performances start at 2.30pm on weekdays and Sundays, with Saturday shows at 11am and 3.30pm.
