Sprucing up Ballito ahead of the holiday season

With the holiday season fast approaching, Ballito is getting a touch-up to create a good impression before the influx of festive season holidaymakers.

“The Ballito UIP team has been working diligently to get the precinct ready for the upcoming December holidays,” said the UIP in a media media statement.

“With an influx of visitors and locals expected to enjoy all that Ballito has to offer, our efforts have focused on enhancing safety, cleanliness, and aesthetics throughout the area.”

Key repairs and upgrades undertaken:

  • Freshly painted kerbs across the precinct enhance visibility and maintain a well-kept appearance.
  • Damaged planks on the Ballito promenade have been replaced, ensuring safe and enjoyable access for walkers and beachgoers.
  • Ablution facilities at Salmon Bay and Hawkins parking area have been spruced up with fresh paint and minor repairs to improve the experience for all visitors.
  • KDM is repairing potholes and fixing surface issues on Ballito Drive and Douglas Crowe Drive.
