‘Unwrapped’: The Gallery at Lifestyle Centre opens with new art exhibition
The exhibition will be on display from December 5 to February 2.
As the season of gifting approaches, The Gallery at Lifestyle Centre aims to inspire the art fraternity to ‘unwrap’ new perspectives.
Appropriately titled ‘Unwrapped’, the first exhibition in a newly renovated space at The Gallery will open on December 5 and run until February 2.
A host of events are planned throughout the season, including artist talks and workshops to ensure you get your dose of culture this December.
“Art has an incredible power to connect and change us, if we allow it,” said The Gallery curator, Sarah O’Reilly.

“With ‘Unwrapped’ we want to encourage viewers to reflect on the gifts we give and receive, both tangible and intangible. This exhibition serves as a reminder of the beauty in sharing our stories, our kindness and our creativity.”
There will be a wide range of artworks and media on show, including painting, sculpture, printmaking and mixed media. Some of the artists exhibiting are Jabulani Cele, Jane Digby, Kim Pereira and Leigh Bisset, among many others.

The opening of ‘Unwrapped’ is timed to coincide with First Thursdays at The Studios and will run from 6pm. Quiet Storm will be playing live music and there are plenty of food and drink options nearby.
