Big vibes at Ballito’s Big Week shindig

Top talent help locals usher in the new year.

The Sugar Rush Park lawns pulsed with energy this festive season during the Ballito Big Week.

Kicking off on December 26, hip-hop heavyweights Nasty C, Cassper Nyovest and Blxckie set the stage on fire with performances that kept the crowd on their feet.

On December 29, the beats shifted to Amapiano, with Major League DJz, DBN Gogo and Oscar Mbo taking charge.

Helping locals usher in the new year, house music maestros Caiiro, Da Capo, Enoo Napa, Sun-El Musician and Atmos Blaq rang in 2025 with well-known hits.

Police were out in full force with local organisations such as the Rise Up Movement stepping in to assist with patrols and crowd management.
