The ‘Best of‘ awards have become a popular annual showcase for local businesses across the country and Ballito’s very own is no different.

Thousands of votes pour in each year, ensuring the eventual winners are public favourites and offering residents and visitors to the coast a ‘cheat sheet’ of the local best.

Businesses need to first be nominated to be eligible however, which is the process that this morning and will run until April 30.

If you have a business in mind, you can nominate them via the website at bestofsouthafrica.co.za/ballito/best-of-ballito-nomination.

To make the process easier, last year’s nominees have been included, but it is important to note that they need to be nominated again to be in the running.

“We are incredibly excited about this year’s Best of Ballito campaign, and the response so far has been truly overwhelming,” said Courier MD, Pieter Naudé.

“By recognising outstanding products, services, and experiences, the awards inspire local pride and strengthen community connections which directly aligns to the Courier’s vision of “building community” on the North Coast.

There are also some great prizes to the value of more than R30 000 to be won this year, which include fantastic getaways at Rain Farm Game & Lodge, Sun Sibaya and Canelands Beach Club.

All you need to do is nominate your favourite businesses in at least nine categories and you will automatically be entered.
