Aspiring KwaDukuza model claims Miss Teen Universe South Africa – Mini crown
10-year-old Kayleigh Reddy added the sash to a collection of 18 won countrywide.
Aspiring KwaDukuza model Kayleigh Reddy was recently crowned Miss Teen Universe South Africa – Mini at a glamorous ceremony.
The 10-year-old was selected after three days of exciting competition at the Sun Meropa Casino in Limpopo on March 23. The Miss Teen Universe South Africa pageant is one of the largest in the country and drew models from all nine provinces.
Kayleigh’s win qualifies her for international pageant competition and she has the opportunity to represent South Africa in the USA and Colombia later this year.
“I am so proud of this crown and want to say a big thank you to my parents Sharmaine and Kevin for supporting my dreams,” she said.
A pupil at Glenhills Primary in KwaDukuza, Kayleigh holds 18 sashes from various local and national pageants.
