Wednesday Social Club members get their feet moving with line dancing lessons
The club meets every second month and offers members community and a chance to learn new skills.
Wednesday Social Club members proved that age was just a number when they danced their hearts out at their latest meeting.
Held at the Ballito Library last Wednesday, the meeting featured a lively mix of energetic moves, friendly competition and plenty of tea and cake. The highlight of the event, however, was a line dancing session led by the talented Pavithra Naidoo from Pavi’s School of Line Dancing. She got the social club members up and dancing to Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean.
“We all had a great time and enjoyed line dancing to the music. It was so lovely to see a group of ladies enjoying a special time together,” said club chairperson, Filippa Heyneke.
To join the social club, contact Filippa at 082 602 4593. The club meets every second month, on the last Wednesday of the month.
