Ballito is buzzing this weekend with May Day celebrations, markets and live entertainment set to bring families and friends together across the North Coast.
1 May – Join in on the holiday fun at the Ballito Farmers Market from 8am to 3pm. Enjoy food, music, activities for kids and a free entry pétanque (boules) competition for teams of two, starting at 10am. – Join the Rock Up & Run series at 7am, starting and finishing at Hops Ballito. Enjoy a complimentary beer, wine or coffee at the finish line. Secure your spot at

2 May – Enjoy local food and shops at the Burnedale Night Market from 4.30-8.30pm.

3 May – Join the 1-hour parkrun at Hazelmere Dam, Holla Trails and Tinley Manor from 8-9am. Run, walk or jog while taking in the views.

6 May – State vet rabies inoculation at the open space between the Ballito Gesinskerk and the clinic from 9-10.30am.
7 May – Looking to enhance your speaking skills? Join the launch of Ballito Toastmasters Club on Wednesday at Ballito Hills at 5.45pm for 6pm. Tickets are R150 and include a light dinner. RSVP to Todd Atterbury at 076 908 7688.
