Celebrate the healing power of nature at new Gallery exhibition
The exhibition launches alongside First Thursdays and will run until August 3.
Step into a living canvas where art and nature merge – Biophilia invites you to breathe deeper and reconnect with what grounds us.
Opening at The Gallery in The Studios at Lifestyle Centre, on Thursday, June 5, the exhibition features a striking collection of local artworks that reflect the healing and inspiring power of the natural world. From immersive installations to textured paintings, Biophilia encourages visitors to rediscover their place in the rhythm of life.
Curator Sarah O’Reilly said the exhibition was designed to be both visually engaging and thought-provoking.

“We wanted to create a space that not only showcases art, but also encourages reflection on how deeply intertwined our well-being is with the natural environment,” said O’Reilly.
“Each piece invites viewers to pause, breathe and consider how nature is not something separate from us – it’s part of us.”
The exhibition runs until August 3, and takes its name from a term coined by biologist E.O. Wilson, which describes the human instinct to connect with the living world. The artworks span themes from lush landscapes and organic textures to eco-conscious ideas and meditative spaces.

The official opening coincides with the monthly First Thursdays event at The Studios. Guests can enjoy live music by Quiet Storm and a curated wine tasting experience by Lifestyle Tops. Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
