Families flock to popular Dolphin Coast Pre-Primary Fun Day

The success of the day has prompted the school to make it an annual event.

Laughter and playful chaos filled the air at Dolphin Coast Pre-Primary’s vibrant Kids Fun Day on Saturday.

The kids enjoyed the school’s incredible play space, which includes a bike track, jungle gyms, a sandpit, a sensory garden, swings and a charming playhouse.

Karla Kruger and Ayla-Rae Bester had plenty of fun in the charming playhouse.

From bouncing gleefully on a colourful jumping castle to being mesmerised by a live reptile demonstration, little ones were kept thoroughly entertained. There was also plenty to eat. The crowd-favourite boerewors rolls were in hot demand, while free popcorn and coffee made sure everyone stayed fuelled for the festivities.

But beyond the fun and games, the day carried a deeper spirit of togetherness.

“We were overwhelmed with the turnout. The event brought together families, staff, and our local community for a day filled with laughter, connection and joy. The smiles on the children’s faces said it all, ” said principal Ashlea Golden.

Encouraged by the event’s success and feedback from parents, Golden said they plan to make the Kids’ Fun Day an annual highlight on the school calendar.

“The smiles on children’s faces and the positive feedback from families made it clear that this special day left a lasting impression. We look forward to making this an annual tradition.”
