Getting warm this winter at the Brettenwood potjie competition

Eleven teams showcased a wide variety of tantalising dishes.

Sizzling flavours and irresistible aromas filled Brettenwood Estate during a popular potjie competition on July 26.

Hosted in partnership with Bluff Meat Supply, 11 teams showcased their best potjie dishes in a heated cook-off. Competing teams included The Palm Swift Team, Mica & Weber, Maverick Turf, Chas Everitt, Tyson Properties, Solarvest, resident Jitesh Govender, Integr8, Hirsch’s, GC Solar and Dine Inn.

Darren Coull of Maverick Turf claimed the 2025 title, while live music and plenty of other treats added to a vibrant atmosphere.
