Ballito fundraising food festival coming to Towsend Park on Sunday
Thirteen food stalls, live music and plenty of kids’ activities ensure its one you cannot miss.
Join hands with the Ballito community this Sunday for a fun day out in support of several worthwhile causes.
The inaugural Give and Gather Food Fest comes to Townsend Park from 9.30am to 4pm and promises plenty of fun activities, delicious food and an unbeatable sense of community.
Entry is free, and proceeds from food and drink sales will be distributed among six local charities and causes. These include the Society of St Vincent de Paul, StreetLit, Sables Creatures, Blessed Gérard’s Care Centre, Cupcakes for Cancer and the Napier Centre.
Children can look forward to a packed line-up of activities throughout the day, including a Footy tournament, obstacle course, jumping castle, interactive spray-painting wall and more. Parents can relax to the melodic sounds of René Tshiakanyi while enjoying a variety of fantastic refreshment options.
“So we invite you to skip breakfast, bring your family and join us for a day of food, fun and fellowship – all for a great cause,” said organiser Marilyn Johnson.
