Summerhill Fashion Show to combine couture with charity this Thursday

The fundraising fashion event will support Summerhill House’s vision for a dedicated children’s education centre.

Catch some of the best local designers at the Summerhill Fashion Show – Walking with Purpose, taking place at Manor House on Thursday (September 4).

Guests can enjoy pop-up shops to purchase their favourite pieces straight off the runway, along with a delicious light brunch and drinks from 10am to 1pm.

The fashion show is a fundraising initiative to support the construction of a dedicated education centre for children under the care of Summerhill House in Etete. Many of these children face challenges in mainstream schooling due to past trauma or underlying medical issues.

The non-profit organisation provides a shelter for orphaned and abandoned children, fostering a vibrant, family-oriented community where they can grow up with the security and guidance they deserve.

The new centre will provide a nurturing space for homework support, private therapy sessions and serve as a community hub on weekends.

Tickets are R550 per person and can be purchased via Quicket or by contacting Summerhill directly at fundraiser@summerhill.org.za.

There will also be fantastic giveaways and entertainment. To sponsor goodie bag items, contact 032 947 1210.
