Former Chief Justice Raymond Zondo to address upcoming Business@Breakfast
The event will be held at Simbithi Country Club on September 25.
Former Chief Justice Raymond Zondo will share insights on governance, accountability and ethical leadership at the returning Business@Breakfast event later this month.
Judge Zondo is one of the country’s most respected legal figures and is best known for presiding over the State Capture Commission of Inquiry, often referred to by his name alone. He served as Deputy Chief Justice under Mogoeng Mogoeng from 2017 to 2022, before becoming Chief Justice – the country’s most senior judicial position – from 2022 until 2024.
“Judge Zondo’s legacy in upholding accountability and ethical leadership speaks directly to the challenges facing business today,” said iLembe Chamber of Commerce CEO Cobus Oelofse.
“Strong governance underpins investor confidence and economic growth, which is why his insights are highly relevant to our members, reflecting on the intersection between ethical governance and sustainable business growth.
“Business@Breakfast was always intended to host leaders of Judge Zondo’s calibre, providing our business community with opportunities to engage with perspectives that go beyond the balance sheet but which are critical to building a resilient and competitive economy.”
Business@Breakfast is hosted in conjunction with the iLembe Chamber of Commerce, The North Coast Courier and The Robert Group.
This month’s event will take place in the Pavilion Room at Simbithi Country Club at 8am on September 25. Tickets cost R280 for iLembe Chamber members and R380 for non-members.
