Summerhill fashion show creates runway to hope
The glamorous affair raised funds for a dedicated education centre at the Etete non-profit.
Laughter, mimosas and community spirit filled the air at the annual Summerhill House Fashion Show, held at The Manor House last Thursday.
Guests arrived dressed to impress and not just to admire fabulous fashion, but to stitch hope into the lives of children at Summerhill House.

A celebration of creativity, the runway featured stunning collections from local designers including MUZE, Holiday, Lula, Beach & Beyond, Willow and Beach, FitLee and StyledZa.
From couture and everyday wear to summer dresses, swimwear and activewear, the showcase was a feast for the eyes.

Founder Paula Owen thanked the community for their continued support. She shared heartwarming stories about lives that have been changed through Summerhill House, emphasising that their work is focused on bettering the lives of the communities they serve.

The fashion show served as a key fundraising initiative for the non-profit, which is currently raising funds to build a dedicated education centre for the children in its care. Many of these children face barriers to mainstream schooling due to past trauma or underlying medical conditions.

Located in Etete, Summerhill House provides a safe and loving home for orphaned and displaced children, while also offering food, care and support to vulnerable children in the surrounding community.
