Cupcakes of Hope raises funds for children’s cancer care at Ballito bake sale

Funds raised will go towards cancer treatments, as well as daily expenses such as nutritional support and transport to hospitals.

The Cupcakes of Hope NPO celebrated National Cupcake Day last Saturday with a bake sale outside Checkers at the Ballito Steps centre.

The event, themed ‘Bake a Difference’, was a roaring success, with strong support from shoppers and cancer survivors. Local bakers registered online and delivered trays of cupcakes to support the cause.
