Ribumed team members get moving for mental health

Behavioural Centre staff joined the 10th annual Mental Health Walk in Durban.

Staff from Ribumed Behavioural Centre joined more than 1 500 participants for the 10th annual Mental Health Walk held in Durban on October 5.

Hosted by the KZN Mental Health Advocacy Group, the walk took place along the Durban promenade and has become one of the province’s largest events dedicated to raising awareness about mental health. Ribumed staff said they welcomed the opportunity to promote awareness, challenge stigma and show support for those living with mental health conditions.

“Events like these allow us to stand in solidarity with those affected and help build a more informed and compassionate society,” a spokesperson said.
