The milestone was announced during the estate’s monthly First Thursday event, hosted last week at the site of its future clubhouse. Zimbali Lakes head of sales and marketing, Dave McGregor, said the estate had seen strong buyer interest throughout 2025.

“Those figures are a cracker in anyone’s book,” said McGregor. “Our sales and marketing team have had a fantastic year. We are expecting even bigger things in 2026.”

The First Thursday event series, launched in June, offers agents, media and stakeholders a monthly update on the estate’s progress. This edition showcased the under-construction clubhouse, which is set to open in April.

Vice-president of operations Neil Cocker said the venue would serve as the “heartbeat of the estate,” offering residents a central social and leisure hub.

It will include the Big Easy Bar and Grill, a 260-seater restaurant, along with a braai area, children’s zone, golf pro shop and access to walking and cycling trails. Staff training begins in February.

With its growing community, premium amenities and active engagement strategy, Zimbali Lakes continues to position itself as a premier destination for luxury coastal living.

The estate recently secured a further R2.2-billion investment to fast-track key internal developments including bulk earthworks and infrastructure.

Priority projects include the Zimbali Square retail centre, Zimbali Sports Club, Ernie Els Suites, Avanti Residences and the TSC Supercar Showroom and Vault. Completion is expected by 2028.

Land opportunities are available at Zimbali Lakes from R2.25-million with no transfer duty. Further information can be found here.
