Live music and DJ icons light up KZN Summer inland of Ballito

Jeremy Loops, Da Capo, Matthew Mole, Mi Casa and Will Linley were among the artists who performed.

Thousands of holidaymakers and locals flocked to The Lawns outside town for KZN Summer, a concert highlight of the festive season.

Running from December 26 to January 1, the week-long festival drew music lovers for a celebration of live performances, dancing, food and holiday fun.

Lungelihle Zwane, known as Uncle Waffles, lighting up the stage.

Ballito Live brought the summer spirit with a focus on live music on December 27 and 29, headlined by Jeremy Loops and Matthew Mole, with Will Linley, Zakes Bantwini and plenty more lighting up the stage.

Ballito Big Week largely featured DJs, drawing some of the country’s best artists including Caiiro, Da Capo, Enoo Napa, DBN Gogo, Major League DJz and a host of other high-energy performers on December 26 and 28.

Fans dressed up for ther favourite artists.

The festival’s finale on New Year’s Day was slightly more relaxed, as Mi Casa, Oskido and Zee Nxumalo welcomed 2026 with excellent vibes.
