Ballito’s Brewed Beats coffee rave set to become monthly event
The launch event at The Waffle Society proved a huge success.
Ballito is set to come alive with a monthly Brewed Beats coffee rave, following a successful debut that drew crowds of early risers.
The Waffle Society owner Clare Sykes said they plan to host the DJ-led coffee disco every month, with the next event expected in April (date to be announced).
The first event, held last Thursday, saw a vibrant gathering at the restaurant in Ballito Village, where residents enjoyed an energetic start to their day.

Joburg’s DJ Leben was behind the decks, spinning remixed pop classics that had many attendees dancing, while others relaxed with coffee and conversation.
Open to the public and free of charge, the event attracted people from all walks of life.
Some arrived straight after their morning run, others came after school drop-offs, while many were simply curious to experience something new. Guests were treated to complimentary coffee.
