23 April – Sundowners on Eat Street with DJ Marcel from 4-6pm.

– The KDM IDP Budget Imbizo will be held at Umhlali Prep School at 6pm. It is open to residents of Wards 6, 22 and 30 (Ballito, Salt Rock and Sheffield).

24 April – The Kickstands live at La Piazza Ballito from 5-8pm.

– Catch Chuck Bowden at The Market between 6-9pm or Hale Mary at Eat Street from 6.30-9.30pm.

25 April – Enjoy breakfast with Ryan Lawler at The Studios between 10.30am-12.30pm, before lunch at The Market with Thomson & Thomson from 12.30-3.30pm. Ryan Mason will perform at The Market between 6-9pm, while Afritude will be on Eat Street from 6.30-9.30pm.

26 April – North Coast Beaches monthly clean-up at Zimbali Long Beach from 7-9am. Meet at Foch le Roux parking area. Bring your own gloves and water.
– Sunday lunch at The Market with Angel from 12.30-3.30pm or The Kickstands on Eat Street between 1-4pm.

27 and 29 April – Donation-based yoga classes at Balvista Centre Ballito (Lutheran Church above SPCA Dog Box) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5.30-6.30pm. Proceeds go to charity. More info at yogamyoga.com.

30 April – Monthly Ballito Writers Group Meeting at the Ballito Library at 10.30am. All welcome. Speaker: Daniela d’Hotman de Villiers, who writes to assist families to rediscover presence, connection and humanity in an age of screens and AI.

2 May – Thrift festival and silent antique auction fundraiser for Westbrook Retirement Village. Great bargains, traders and food options at the Village from 9am-2pm. Contact Christa at 082 332 8002.

6 May – Simbithi Eco-Estate Enviro Talk by Nicolette Forbes on ‘The Greatest Swamp on Earth’. Pavilion Room at Simbithi Country Club at 6pm. R30 entry.

• Thursday and Sunday: Salt Rock Farmers’ Market at Slow Roads Collective. 7am-12pm on Thursday and 9am-1pm on Sunday.
• First Friday of every month: Burnedale Farm Night Market, 4.30-8.30pm in Umhlali.
• Last Friday of every month: Market 032 night market, 6-9pm at La Montagne.
• Saturday and Sunday and selected public holidays: Ballito Farmers Market, 8am-3pm at Lower Oaklands Farm, Umhlali.
