Get It networking events unite women on the North Coast

From ball sports to the boardroom, there was something for everyone.

From business coaching to padel, Get It Magazine connected women through two recent community-focused events.

On May 29, the Get It Ballito Umhlanga team partnered with ActionCOACH to host a business coaching breakfast at the Dragonfly Room at Simbithi Country Club.

Local businesswomen enjoyed a talk by Shirley Pearson, who shared practical insights on leadership, strategy and business growth. The event also provided an opportunity for networking and encouraged collaboration among attendees.

Chelsea Kuiperi, Caetlin Potgieter and Terri Pillemer.

The following day, Get It readers swapped the boardroom for the padel court at Karibu Padel for a ladies’ social event. Dressed to the theme, ‘Pretty in Pastels’, players enjoyed friendly competition, prizes and plenty of fun, with East Coast Radio presenter J Sbu keeping the energy high as MC.

The padel event also supported the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund through a fundraising raffle, with generous prizes donated by local sponsors.

Padel event winner Tanya Minnozi.

“Thank you to all the ladies who joined us last week, and to the partners and sponsors who helped make the events possible,” said Get It Ballito Umhlanga editor Jennifer Campbell.

“We love meeting our readers and spending time with this incredible community that we are lucky to cover.”
