Miss Ballito Teen finalists add a splash of colour to Ballito Village

Miss Ballito Teen finalists swapped their heels for paintbrushes last Saturday, adding a splash of colour to Ballito Village.
The finalists joined artist Dylan Smith of The Mural Movement for a community art project hosted by the Ballito Arts Festival at Mozambik Restaurant.
With paintbrushes in hand, the young women spent the morning getting creative, sharing laughs and leaving their own colourful mark on the town.
The event gave the finalists an opportunity to promote the Miss Ballito pageant and connect with the community ahead of the crowning in October.
After putting down their brushes, the group was treated to seafood platters at Mozambik.
The colourful activation formed part of the build-up to the inaugural Ballito Arts Festival, set to debut in April next year.
The festival aims to put North Coast creativity in the spotlight, bringing together painters, sculptors, musicians, performers and other local creatives.

The Miss Ballito journey continues this week, with the finalists set to attend a cocktail evening at La Montagne on Friday.
