Known for their undeniable talents the Shandu family scooped an impressive amount of awards at the the recent Sports Awards Evening at Crawford North Coast..
The youngest of the three, Phakamile Shandu who is in grade eight, was awarded the most promising award for U14 indoor hockey and U14 soccer, player of the year for U14 action netball and KZN representation for action netball.
Phindile Shandu (grade 10) received the award for most improved in U16 indoor hockey; player of the year for U16 netball as well as KZN representation for action netball.
Matric student Phumzile Shandu was awarded player of the year for action netball, girls hockey, netball and overall sports person of the year. She also received KZN representation in action netball and netball, indoor and outdoor hockey; SA representation in U18 action netball and netball, as well as U18 hockey.
The school conveyed their congratulations to the Shandu family on their successes.
