A colourful space

The RedCap foundation has been upgrading art classrooms at five schools in KwaDukuza.

Volunteers from the RedCap Foundation took time out of their busy schedules to help upgrade classrooms in KwaDukuza on Monday.

The group brightened up an overcast day at St Christopher and Nyakana primary schools and pupils watched their art classrooms be transformed into colourful and creative spaces by the volunteers.

The foundation is busy assisting five schools in KwaDukuza which includes Aldinville, Zilungisele, St Christopher, Kearsney and Nyakana. The project incorporates whole school improvement models which encourages participation in school sport, arts and cultural activities, technology education, environmental initiatives and leadership capacity building programmes.

Laila Simon, Belinda Adams, Steve Turner and Jessica Swart volunteered their time to help out on Monday.
