Mastering the numbers game

Protec Tongaat pupils were visited by Lauren Izaaks, trainer for Casio who showed them a few tricks around their calculators on Saturday, March 15.
Marion Takis, Protec Tongaat manager, said the workshop was very valuable to their students as it empowered them to use their calculators effectively.
“These workshop help our facilitators in their programme to grow our students both personally and academically,” said Takis.
She said she was touched by their dedication to succeed and said she was extremely grateful to all their sponsors.
Selected pupils from high schools around Tongaat, Ndwedwe and Verulam give up most Saturdays and school holidays to attend extra lessons at Protec Tongaat.
