PLG schools bridging the price gap

Ballito Academy to open next year.

The PLG group of schools brings private school education at affordable prices to Ballito.

“Our philosophy is to bridge the gap between government and private schools by providing affordable, quality education,” said PLG Schools Ballito Academy executive headmaster Ryan Doig.
The Dolphin Coast community has been pleading for a school like this for the last seven years and this comes as an answer to many parents’ prayers. The Ballito Academy along with Willow View Academy in
Kempton Park will be the PLG group’s flagship schools. The group’s vision is to expand to open 30 schools within the next five years.
Ballito Academy offers top quality sports facilities, catering for all mainline sports and also offers a boarding facility for grades three to 12 pupils. Pupils will write the education department exam in Grade 12.
“We open in 2015 from grade RR to 11. I have interviewed more than 200 applicants in the last two weeks and I encourage interested parents to come forward as soon as possible before classes are full,” said
Doig.
He said the PLG group will be listed on the JSE next year. The PLG group’s leadership packs quite a punch with CEO Andrew McLachlan and education director Noel Coetzee at the helm. Coetzee is the former executive headmaster of Treverton College in Mooiriver. Ballito Academy pupils are in competent hands with executive headmaster Ryan Doig also being the former executive headmaster of Curro Embury College in Durban.
“Ballito Academy will not only be affordable but also easily accessible with three access points into the school,” said Doig.
The school will be based at the Ballito Business Park in Nandi Mthembu Drive.
The monthly school fees structure is as follows:

Grades RR-three: R1500

Grades four to seven: R2200

Grades eight to ten: R2800

Grades eleven and twelve: R3200

After care: R500

Boarding: R3100
